- St. Vitus Cathedral had been built over centuries and finished in 1929, the main used style is gothic and neogothic. Two famous architects, who took part at the building, were Petr Parléř and Matyáš from Arras. There is also a room which hides the crown jewels and is locked with seven different keys. In the basement are crypts with tombs of czech kings.
- The Vladislav's Hall in Old King's Palace was used for horse tournaments in the past and for president elections. Nowadays, its used once a year, when presidents gives the badges of honour on the 28th October.
- In the Spanish Hall in New King's Palace bankets and president elections used to také place.
- The alchymist in middle age lived in Golden Lane.
- There is the Summer Palace and singing fountain in the royal gardens. The singing fontaine has a metal basin, on which the falling water drops make sounds.

- Charles Bridge
- There are 30 sculptures on both sides of the bridge, which were built by Brokoff and Braun. At the end and at the beginning of Charles bridge are tower - Lesser Town Mostecká Tower and Old Town Mostecká Tower. You can climb them. When you go from the bridge to Old Town Square, you cross the Křižovské Square, where the the famous baraque library is found - Klementinum.

- The visual dominance of this place is the Týn Church, where the astromer Tycho de Brache is buried. It is used for celebrations like weddings and there is a beutiful view of the whole square from the tower.
- Tourist come mostly to see the astronomical clock, which was built by Master Hanuš. He was later made blind, so he couldnt projet any other astronimical clock. The clock shows twelve statues of apostels every hour.

- There are special Christmas and Easter markets every year.
- Wenceslas Square
- This place, actually wide street, was used as a horse market. Nowadays, there are shops, national museum and the St. Václav Memorial - bronze statue of St. Václav on a horse, surrounded by four Satues of Czech saints. These are St. Vojtěch, St. Prokop, St. Anežka and St. Ludmila, grandmother of St. Václav.

- National Theater - There was a public collection of money called "The Nation itself", which finaced the building of the theatre. The main two architects were Zítek and Schulz. The curtains were painted by Hinais, some other paintings were made by Mikoláš Aleš and the pictures on the overhead were painted by F. Ženíšek. The statues are a cooperation from Myslbek and Schnirch. There are the foundation stones in the basement, which had been brought from some places connected with czech history. The first played permormance was also connected with czech history - it was Libuše written by B. Smetana. Unfortunately, it burned only a few months after it had been finished. Then it took another three years to reopening.

- Nowadays there are cinemas complexes like Cinema Star, Cinema City, Palas Cinemas, … situated in the big shopping centres. There is Cinema City in Zličín, Palas Cinemas in Smíchov, … Real popular are the 3D cinemas.

- national museum - There are collections of archeological findings, then animals, pictures, portraits, big collection of stones and minerals. Some exponats had to be moved to the next building - contemporary communist house of parliament.

- There is a tennis centre in Štvanice. For horse racing - Chuchle, for ice hockey O2-arena and for football Slavia Stadium. There are also places useful for camping and rowing.

- There is the Prague ZOO in Troja. It was damaged by the flash flood 8 years ago and you can find a singpost there, how high the water was.
- Petřín's Tower is a small copy of Paris Eiffel Tower. There is also a small observatory, Mirror labyrint and a statue of Mácha, who was famous czech poet in the 19th century.
- Legends
- Legend about Horymír and Šemík. Horymír was member of Czech estate and got into prison. Before he should have been executed, he wanted to ride his horse Šemík as his last wish. Šemík jumped over the walls and across the river and Horymír escaped.
